The Maritime Museum is built on land reclaimed from the sea, and the dual nature of the site forms a landscape characterized by the "intersection of land and sea". The museum's design concept, Wave Flower, is inspired by the geological formation where land and sea meet, a mountain-shaped exhibition space that merges with the wave-like roof. A mesa-like "third space" is formed between the exhibition space and the large roof to stimulate a variety of social and creative activities. The design is dedicated to exploring the relationship between the ocean and human beings, creating a poetic connection between human beings and the ocean through architecture.
