游客中心服务于荣成市鸡鸣岛这一风光优美的度假海岛，是包含餐饮休息、交通集散等设施的综合性旅游服务中心。建筑态势面向游船码头的方向水平展开，容纳售票、候船、餐厅、民宿等实用性功能。整体设计以“大海边的聚落”为意向，采用秩序感强烈的三角形剪力墙结构肌理，与当地独特的海草民居相呼应，空心无梁大板结构的运用造就建筑内部水平延展的空间特征。

The Visitor Center is a comprehensive tourism service center serving Jiming Island, a beautiful holiday island in Rongcheng City, including catering, rest, transportation and other facilities. The situation of the building is horizontally spread towards the cruise ship wharf to accommodate practical functions such as ticketing, waiting for ships, restaurants and B&Bs. The overall design takes "the settlement by the sea" as the intention, and adopts the triangular shear wall structure texture with a strong sense of order, which echoes the unique local seaweed folk houses. The application of the hollow beamless slab structure creates the horizontal spatial characteristics of the interior of the building.
