世界技能博物馆是全球首个致力于展示职业技能的博物馆，位于上海市杨浦滨江地区，由拥有百年历史的永安栈房西翼修缮而成。原建筑为无梁楼盖结构的仓库，八角棱柱的结构特征极具特色。在修缮过程中，优先确保历史建筑的结构安全性和历史风貌的完整性、原真性，按照可逆性以及可识别性的原则，对历史建筑的功能性、开放性以及适用性进行了针对性设计，采用结构隐性加固以及地面空调系统相结合的方法，完成了历史建筑向现代博物馆的转变。

The World Skills Museum is the world's first museum dedicated to the exhibition of vocational skills. Located in the riverside area of Yangpu, Shanghai, the museum was built from the west wing of the century-old Yongan Plank House. The original building is a warehouse with a beamless floor structure and an octagonal prism structure. In the repair process, priority to ensure that the historic building structure security and the integrity of the historical style and features, the original true, according to the principle of reversibility and identifiable to the functional sex of the historic buildings, openness and applicability for the specific design, the structure of the recessive reinforcement and the method of combining the ground air conditioning system, completed the historic buildings to modern museum.
