太仓美术馆毗邻太仓市政府及市民公园，我们以江南园林为空间原型，通过对园林空间尺度的抽取与重构，建构一种当代语境下的美术馆园林空间，营造与传统园林空间和而不同的空间氛围。将近人的空间尺度应用于当代艺术空间中，通过层层展开的空间层级过渡到宏大的公共空间。以密肋拱型结构形成结构性的空间界面，通过纯粹的白色清水混凝土建造形成太仓新的公共艺术地标。

Taicang Art Museum is adjacent to the Taicang Municipal government and the Citizen Park. Taking the gardens in the south of the Yangtze River as the spatial prototype, through the extraction and reconstruction of the spatial scale of the gardens, we construct a kind of gallery garden space in the contemporary context, and create a space atmosphere that is different from the traditional garden space. The scale of space is applied to the contemporary art space, which is transitioning to the grand public space through the layers of space hierarchy. The ribbed arch structure forms the structural space interface, and the pure white exposed concrete construction forms a new public art landmark in Taicang.
