洛阳博物馆新馆建筑选址毗邻隋唐洛阳城里坊区遗址，是城市中轴线上极为重要的标志性建筑。建筑以水平延展的扁平体量与周边遗址环境取得协调，同时成为向公众开放的城市公共活动场所。以非对称的空间结构为支撑，将中央大厅偏向一侧布置，通过多个院落组织自然采光与通风。连绵起伏的屋面巧妙容纳了设备空间，在隋唐洛阳城遗址的真实背景中再现了考古场景，将建筑概念与场地特质融为一体。

The new Luoyang Museum is located adjacent to the site of Chengfang District of Luoyang in Sui and Tang Dynasties, which is a very important landmark building on the central axis of the city. The flat volume of the building is in harmony with the surrounding heritage environment, and it becomes an urban public activity place open to the public. Supported by an asymmetrical spatial structure, the central hall is arranged to one side to organize natural lighting and ventilation through multiple courtyards. The rolling roof cleverly accommodates the equipment space, recreating the archeological scene in the real context of the Luoyang City site in Sui and Tang Dynasties, integrating the architectural concept with the site characteristics.
